Beginning Horsemanship
Group Class This group
horseback riding class focuses on all the basic knowledge required to be a safe horse handler, both on the ground and in the
saddle. You'll learn the proper care of equipment as well as how to halter, lead, turn out, groom and saddle your horse. Understanding
horse behavior is also an important facet of safety. The mounted portion of this horseback riding class will teach you proper
mounting, dismounting, starting, stopping and turning your horse. Explore both English and western style horseback riding.
Minimum age for this group horseback riding class is 8 or with instructor approval. Four 1-hour weekly lessons are $100. Sorry,
no make-ups if you miss a class. Maximum of 8 participants. Check our calendar for upcoming dates. This class is a prerequisite to any semi-private or group horseback
riding lessons.
Lesson/Lease Special Take one private horseback riding lesson per week and ride a second day during the week to practice
what you learned in your lesson. Special package price is $280 per month. This package is ideal for students currently taking
private horseback riding lessons who are ready to take their riding to the next level.

Horsemanship Lessons
English and Western Our horsemanship lessons are much more than horseback riding lessons. You'll
learn the fundamentals of horsemanship including care of the horse, tack, ground work and a wide range of horseback riding
skills. We welcome all ages of horseback riders and specialize in
beginners. Our wonderful lesson horses will not only teach you how to ride but help teach you some of life's
most important lessons: confidence, leadership, responsibility, trust, respect and teamwork. We have patient, skilled horseback
riding instructors available seven days a week. A private, one-hour horseback riding
lesson is $50. Semi-private horseback riding lessons are $35 and group (3) horseback riding lessons are $30. The Beginning
Horsemanship class is required before any student can move into semi-private or group horseback riding lessons to assure that
their skills are at a level to keep all riders safe.
Horseback Riding Experience Are you visiting from out of town and looking for something
different to do? Do you know a special child that you would like to give a great gift? Our horseback riding experience isn't
just about riding. You'll learn some of the lessons taught in our Horses Heal program about respect, communication and teamwork. During this horseback riding program you will learn to groom and saddle
your horse. You'll learn to mount, start, stop and turn your horse then ride your horse for 30-40 minutes in the arena.
This horseback riding experience is $50. For
children under six, we offer mini-trail rides. Horses are hand-led around the ranch for 20 minutes for $25. A photo and certificate are available for either of the above programs for an additional $10.
