Horses have always symbolized power, but we are just beginning to realize
the power they hold to teach us about ourselves and our relationship to the world around us. Because they are experts at reading body language, they give us instant, unbiased feedback on our relationship skills
and the hidden emotions that control our behavior. This live feedback has far more impact than a written model and provides
opportunities to practice what we need to change. Horses provide an environment of constantly changing and evolving experiences.
They put everyone on an even playing field so you can feel free to participate to the fullest. As social animals, they provide
valuable insight into group dynamics and roles. Horses challenge humans to get out of their heads and listen to their instincts.
Developing an intuitive sensitivity that interprets nonverbal input instantaneously and accurately gives us an ability to
understand what is going on with another being and interpret their unspoken communications.
Workplace Workshops When you think about leadership and team building
programs, don’t just think outside the box—think outside! There
is nothing like fresh air and the outdoors to focus your mind. Take your key people away from their everyday world to the peaceful atmosphere of our little oasis in the middle
of Anaheim where you’ll find an environment conducive to productivity. Our team
building exercises are led by a team of facilitators. Our facilitators guide participants through powerful, memorable learning
experiences with our well-mannered horses. The exercises are challenging—they simulate life. Horses mirror and
are direct reflections of the people that handle them. In this way they give us instant, unbiased feedback on our body
language, relationship skills, and the hidden emotions that control our behavior. Great team building is a by-product
of learning new skills together. Research shows it takes six times longer to function as
an effective, productive team when you haven’t had time to meet in-person and share a common experience. Our customized team building programs,
ranging from a few hours to several days, will help your team members recognize their strengths and weaknesses as well as
those of others. Team members will learn to respond quickly and effectively in challenging situations. They’ll be ready
to take initiative and risks. They will be more confident, assertive leaders.
Strides to Excellence This series of open enrollment workshops for leaders, couples and women is
offered quarterly. Our horses will help you learn to read the people around you, improve your communication skills, problem-solve
